American Parkinson Disease Association
The American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc., founded in 1961, has sought to "Ease the Burden and Find the Cure" for Parkinson's disease through research, patient and family support and education. Recognizing the devastating effects of the illness upon the patient and the family, a support program was initiated to motivate the patients in maximizing strengths, minimizing impediments and achieving and maintaining full potential. At present the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. sponsors 65 Chapters and more than 800 Support Groups which provide education, counseling, assistance and referrals throughout the United States.

International Essential Tremors Foundation
The International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) was created to provide information, services and support to individuals and families affected by essential tremor (ET). The organization encourages and promotes research in an effort to determine the causes, treatment and ultimately the cure for ET. ITF is the only worldwide organization dedicated to meeting the needs of those whose daily lives are challenged by ET.

The mission of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) is:

- To provide diagnostic and therapeutic services
- To improve the quality of life for both patients and their caregivers

Parkinson's Action Network
The Parkinson's Action Network (PAN) is the unified advocacy voice of the Parkinson's community, fighting for a cure within five years. Through education and interaction with the Parkinson's community, scientists, policy and opinion leaders, and the public at large, PAN advocates for increased and accelerated investment of public resources to ease the burden and bring a cure to the million Americans who suffer from Parkinson's.
